About Me
My name is Taylor Renee Duncan. I am an artist specializing in photography based in Ventura, California. I have always been an artistic soul, creating from a young age with a desire to meet new people and share their stories. After spending years of my life pursuing what I thought was a more “traditional” academic career, I realized I could no longer bury my passions and began pursuing my BA in Photography at California Baptist University. It was here I discovered how much I love creating narratives through my work and capturing the lives of those around me. Whether it be heavily stylized work to relay a narrative, such as my project, “The Pursuit of Euphoria”, or more documentary work like my projects “COVID-19 Portraits” and “Community Through Isolation”, I will always love the opportunity to create photographic stories that impact the lives of those around me.
